Act_18:26 He began to speak boldly in the synagogue. When Priscilla and Aquila heard him, they invited him to their home and explained to him the way of God more adequately.

Priscilla and Aquila were Jewish Christians like many of the first believers, yet what we see here is their ministry as a couple at work.

Teacher from God

God sends believers to help other believers to learn and grow in the faith. As a teacher sent from God we should be careful to teach exactly what’s meant by God and not water down the message of God based on who’s listening right? This can easily be confused with teaching a message that has been developed specifically for an audience's level of understanding.

My Lover My Friend

Songs of Solomon 5:16 -“His mouth is sweetness itself; he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, this is my friend, daughters of Jerusalem.” 

Marriage has many facets like a diamond and like a good diamond, a good marriage is hard to come by in the world we live in today and It’s so easy to divorce your spouse for any reason and Sadly according to the stats, the majority of marriages, Christian and non-Christian end in divorce.

Woe to You Teachers

[Mat 23:23 NIV] 23 "Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices--mint, dill and cumin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law--justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former. 

This’s a tough teaching for the religious leaders of Jesus’s day. Jesus was making sure they knew that they would be held accountable for not practicing what they teach. Just because someone is a good teacher it does not mean they are living faithfully.
