Sam Bish was a wonderful boy who was taken too soon at the age of 8. Let’s support his family and others while having a great time in a carnival atmosphere. 

Teacher from God

Mat 22 and it says this: 

"Teacher," they said, "we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren't swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are.

As a teacher sent from God we should be very aware that we teach exactly what’s meant by God and we shouldn’t water down the message of God based on who’s listening right? This can easily be confused with teaching a message that’s been developed specifically for an audience's level of understanding.

Bish Bash - Help Crush Childhood Cancer

We’d like to talk to you folks about Pediatric Cancer. We hear a lot about breast cancer, lung cancer well, just about everything but pediatric cancer. Did you know that 58% of deaths by disease in children is caused by cancer? Every day 43 children are diagnosed with cancer, 12% will not survive. This is devastating!

September is Pediatric cancer month but we are excited to talk to you right now about something that is going on that is making a huge difference in the lives of families who are dealing with this disease on a daily basis. On August 15th the Sam Bish Foundation is holding their annual Bish Bash. The Bish Bash is an annual pediatric cancer event in support of the Sam Bish Foundation. It is a “carnival style” family event open to the community which brings about awareness for pediatric cancer while providing a fun atmosphere for families. The yearly even includes magic shows, games, bounce houses, face painting and a Columbus zoo program and more.

Parent Teacher

[Deu 11:19 NIV] 19 Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

This scripture comes from the book of Deuteronomy, where God is telling the Israelite's how they should follow His commands and that we should teach them to our children.

Teaching to Walk
